My interest in beads was stirred when I received a millifiori stretch bracelet at a gift exchange. It was so
simple and pretty, I knew I could do it myself. Off to Ebay to find the beads!
I have always been interested in crafts, doing embroidery as a young girl, and making quilts as an
adult. Beading is somewhat like making a quilt, with lots of design and color decisions.
However, it is far quicker to make a piece of jewelry than it is to make a quilt! You also get to buy and hoard
materials into a “stash”. I would say my bead stash now rivals my fabric stash!
